Design a spam and abuse detection system for a social platform with ~500M DAU. It must score posts, comments, direct messages and signups in real time (under 50ms), combine rules, reputation and ML signals, route uncertain cases to human review with an appeals path, and keep adapting as attackers change tactics while keeping false positives very low.
